Elliot 'Freddie Mercury' Rose
The charismatic front man of Queenergy.
Elliot started his musical journey at the age of five when he went into musical theatre lessons. As a child he loved music and classics like "Phantom of the Opera" and "Les Miserables". At the age of 10 he started graded singing exams at a classical music school while also self teaching piano and guitar on the side as he was starting to love song writing and poetry! He also performed with a local cabaret group.
After completing his singing grades in the early teens, He fell in love with the techniques used by opera singers to create depth, range and power in the voice. He began having lessons with an operatic teacher in London studying these techniques and incorporating them into his ability to sing different styles of music.
Around this time Elliot won a place at The Brighton Institute of Modern Music where he fell in love with performing in front of a crowd and giving them a show. Elliot would end up watching a lot of Queens live performances seeing how Freddie would capture a crowd. This made him an even bigger Queen fan introducing their songs into his solo set list until the day Martyn finally approached him about starting a Queen tribute band.
