The Queenergy Story So Far...

Queenergy formed in 2020 through the Covid-19 Lockdown, when Martyn found the perfect 'Freddie' in the form of Elliot. After approaching Elliot with his idea, it was an easy decision, helped by being a massive fan of Queen already, Elliot jumped at the chance to front this amazing project.

After some searching and auditioning in early 2021 the boys then found their very own 'Brian' in David who, after 2 practices, was offered the role. Again being a huge Queen fan already, David jumped in with both feet. This was where the journey started and after a few months of searching they were then on the look out for a keys player to fill out the true sound of Queen, without having to use backing tracks, for a completely live experience. This is where band found Chris, with a wealth of musical knowledge and experience. Again, after a few successful rehearsals the band decided he was the missing piece of the puzzle to almost everything they needed and took up the role immediately.

That left just one space to fill, and our very own John Deacon was just around the corner. Daran, an old friend and ex band mate of Martyn's, was itching to get in the rehearsal room with the band and show what he could do. After just one rehearsal with Daran, the band could see that this was all they needed to complete the whole package. Again the band decided to jump at the chance and offered Daran the permanent position as our 'Deaccy'.

Ever since, the band have worked relentlessly to bring you the best sound and show of any Queen tribute around. Which leads us to today, after countless shows, packed festivals and rave reviews, the band is rolling into 2023 and packing the calendar to bring this show to you.
