David 'Brian May' Halliday
The man behind the iconic riffs and solos
David has been playing guitar since he was 16 and playing with bands since he was 18. A self taught guitarist, he was brought up around music from a young age, with his father being a massive Queen fan along with the likes of Electric Light Orchestra, UB40, The Eagles and many more. It was here that David would gain his love for Queen himself.
Hailing from the Northants and a small town called Corby, he has played continuously in bands for 12+ years and still plays in 2 other cover bands away from Queenergy. It almost worked out very differently with a career in motorsport starting to blossom in his younger years but he soon turned his attention to music where he has found his real passion for performing on stages all over the country.
When he isn't performing on stage, you will most likely find him on a football pitch somewhere, in the pouring rain and having the time of his life. He also like to unwind in his free time watching motorsport and, in his own words, "not do much at all".
